I am from Uganda and I was one of the first African students apply to study online at IU. I was given an 85% scholarship to start my bachelors degree in data science. Despite having a part-time job that paid me a salary of 100€ per month, it was really hard for me to finance my studies alone, as I also support my Mother and little brother. Through Artsy Africa I was able to get crowd funding for my education and I now work on International projects that help me support my family.
